英语日记寒假

英语日记寒假1

It's almost a day before the Chinese New Year, and my mother bought me good clothes, but the shoes were missing. Because my uncle gave me a pair of high boots before, I didn't fit them, so I asked my uncle to go back and replace them, but he hasn't brought them back yet. Suddenly, my uncle walked over the door, holding my shoes. I snatched them and quickly tried to fit them together, but I just put them on. I felt that the width of the shoes didn't fit me well, and my feet were tightly inside. I quickly took off my shoes and told my uncle that they still didn't fit. However, my uncle said, "No, I went to change them to a larger size." I hesitated and said, "But... but... how do I feel... well, it's no different from before." My uncle said that wearing those shoes would make them wider, so I had to wear them.

At noon, we had chicken and the food was quite sumptuous. After finishing my meal, I went outside and saw that the nearby neighbors were all setting off firecrackers, so loud. The children on this street covered their ears, including me.

In the afternoon, I used a type of leaf to take a shower. My grandmother asked me to put on new clothes after taking a shower, and I followed her instructions to take a shower. But when I was getting dressed, I suddenly felt that these clothes were all so thick. They were also quite hot today. I searched around and finally found a thinner new one, otherwise I would have died from the heat!

In the evening, I want to go out to play, but my grandfather and grandmother are not allowed. They say that the Chinese New Year is coming soon, and there are many small thugs. I have no choice but to stay at home obediently.

英语日记寒假2

Children all look forward to the Chinese New Year, but other children are looking forward to new clothes and New Year's money, while I am looking forward to pork, cabbage, dumplings, rice cakes, Spring Festival Gala, and firecrackers.

On the bustling New Year's Eve, our whole family, old and young, sat together in front of a big round table to make dumplings. Put the chopped filling into the rolled out noodles, and then pinch a beautiful lace to make dumplings that are both simple and exquisite. My brothers and I both like to eat rice cakes. The rice cakes embedded with big red dates are sticky and sweet, which is a homophone for "high year" and means "rising year by year", and the days get better and better.

Watching the Spring Festival Gala on the evening of Chinese New Year's Eve is also an essential activity in my family. I love the sketch part the most because it not only makes us burst into laughter, but also helps me understand some truths after laughing.

How could my year be without firecrackers? No one can deprive me of the opportunity to set off firecrackers that I have been waiting for for over 300 days. Action is better than heart, opportunities are fleeting, and the preparation work needs to be done without even realizing it. I always quietly put a few throwing cannons in my pocket and quickly ran downstairs. In the thick night, I quickly threw a small cannon towards the ground, instantly emitting a small bright spark. When I heard a clear and loud "pop", I ran home with a heart full of joy. My laughter echoed in the hallway, and I pushed open the door. I laughed uncontrollably on the bed at home. At this moment, it fulfilled my long-awaited happiness for a year.

This is my little Chinese New Year.

英语日记寒假3

This year, my parents have already prepared to return to their hometown for the Spring Festival.

Today, I finally embarked on the road home. I walked into Meitou Station and saw people coming and going. With a whoosh, a car heading towards Tangxia arrived. Many elderly people and children got on the car, squeezing and getting close, as if they couldn't get on the car themselves.

My aunt, younger brother, and grandmother waited for a whole hour before getting on the car heading towards Shuitou. As soon as I entered the car door, I immediately ran to the last row of seats and sat down. Along the way, everyone laughed and talked, and unconsciously arrived at Shuitou Station. The streets are filled with a festive atmosphere, with children setting off firecrackers, adults posting couplets, and a strong aroma of vegetables wafting from the kitchen.

We stopped a van and headed straight to our hometown. As soon as I entered the house, many father-in-law, mother-in-law, uncle, and aunt came up to me and said, "Xingle hasn't grown taller in a year!" "How was your final exam this time? How many points did you get in each subject?"... My heart also felt dark and happy. I took out the candy in my backpack and shared it with everyone, sitting on a chair and slowly talking to them. This semester, with the careful guidance of the teacher and my own efforts, I have performed well in all subjects. Chinese 95, Mathematics 91, English 98, everyone praises me.

I went home for the Chinese New Year this year and received a lot of care and love from people. I will definitely work harder in the future, and I will return to my hometown every holiday to visit my father-in-law, mother-in-law, uncle, and aunt, and repay them with even better grades!
